Nothing is safe or predictable these days. Some waters rise while others evaporate. Rivers are born from a mountain’s trickles. Oceans are formed from a snowmelt’s drip-drops. Other waters get sucked dry by the sun or human greed. Everywhere and nowhere, water. Yet when it springs from our eyes, when our emotions shed this liquid seed giving rise to joys and sorrows, this is when we are most attuned to our human nature; out of nothing, everything — our inner waters flowing into time’s endless seas.
